Military brat Timothy "Mad Wolf" Moon Jr. traveled the country during his first seven years of life. When he landed in Waianae, Hawaii in (YEAR), his own personal path became clear: he was going to become a world-class fighter.

“Growing up in Waianae was really tough,” remembers Moon. “Waianae has the reputation of having the toughest fighters in Hawaii. I basically had to live up to the reputation and to fight for myself and for my family every day.”

Moon started intensive training at Waianae Boxing Gym when he was just in junior high school. After graduating from Waianae High School, he followed his family legacy and enlisted in the Army, determined to fight not only for himself, but for his country, over the next three years. After serving valiantly in Kosovo and Bosnia, Moon received an honorary discharge and retuned to Hawaii. In 2004, he made the bold move of stepping up from street fighting to the MMA.

By 2005, Moon was training with the legendary Igan Inouye at Grappling Unlimited in Halawa Heights. To further hone his impressive raw talent, he moved on to study under Barret Yoshida, perfecting the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighting.

Moon’s journey to date has been one of a true fighter. He has served himself, his family and his country. He’s now poised to become one of the leading MMA fighters in the world. In 2007 Moon made his boldest move yet – to the Entertainment Capital of the World: Las Vegas, Nevada. Moon is currently training with and represented by Shogun MMA Management.
